Dr. Victor Kpodo is a seasoned Mechanical Engineering consultant and lecturer in Mechanical Engineering at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Techznology. He is also the Director and Chairman of Nayra Engineering Ltd., a firm of building services engineering consultants.

Victor K. A. Kpodo obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). He received his Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, USA and the University of Salford, England, respectively.

His professional and teaching careers have spanned several years. Before taking up fulltime lectureship position at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, he had worked as a mechanical maintenance engineer at the Akosombo Generating station of the Volta River Authority (VRA).

His pre-professional practice and experience span a number of organizations including Ghana Consolidated Diamond Company (formerly CAST), Public Works Department (PWD), Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC), and Wood Governors, Rockford, Illinois, USA. He is a corporate member of the Ghana Institution of Engineers (MGIE)

Victor Kpodo has served as a lecturer, Head of Department and Vice- Dean of the School of Engineering (KNUST). He was appointed Head of the Kumasi campus of the University of Education, Winneba as well as the Dean of the Division of Applied Arts & Technology Education comprising four Academic Departments on three (3) campuses at Winneba, Kumasi and Mampong-Ashanti .

As a devout Christian, Dr. Kpodo has served on Boards and Councils of a number of Christian and Para-Christian organizations: Global Evangelical Church, Scripture Union, Volta Evangelistic Association, Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) and Christian Service University College. Victor Kpodo continues to offer consultancy services on several projects in a number of Churches and other institutions.
